PhD by Research

Ph.D. by research is one of the most advanced degrees in graduate education containing synchronized research and education activities. The purpose of this program is to train professionals who are capable of working toward sustainable development and can promote knowledge exchange and scientific levels at universities and research centers through orientation of latest research methodologies and bases.

Moreover, it provides graduates with the opportunity to obtain knowledge and skill using creativity and purposeful research on a specific subject matter. Training is a means of obviating students' educational requirement in order to achieve the programmed intended goals.

This program includes Ph.D. by research courses  in fiels of IT Engineering and Telecommunication that the former duration is one year and the latter lasts up to three years, although in essential cases after obtaining the affirmative opinion of the Higher Education Council it can be extended by 1 and 2 semesters respectively.
